HYLO-DUAL® by CandorVision™ is a preservative-free lubricating eye drop designed to relieve symptoms associated with dry eye and allergic eye irritation. The formula combines sodium hyaluronate, which provides long-lasting hydration and lubrication, with ectoine, a natural molecule that helps stabilize the tear film and protect the eye surface from environmental stress.

Together, these ingredients help soothe irritation, reduce tear evaporation, and support the eye’s natural protective barrier against allergens and environmental irritants.

RECOMMENDED USE

Adults and children 6 years and older:

• Instill 1 drop into each eye up to 3 times daily

• Or as directed by a healthcare professional

Read the step-by-step instructions

Step 1: Remove the overcap and turn the bottle over so the dropper tip points down.

Step 2: Prime the system before first use:

Place two fingers on the base and your thumb on the shoulder of the bottle. Press firmly on the base and release. Repeat this several times until the first drop is released. Now the bottle is primed and ready to use.

Step 3: Application:
For better control and accuracy, make a base with one hand to support the hand holding the bottle.

Step 4

Lean your head back slightly and gently pull down your lower eyelid.

Press FIRMLY and QUICKLY on the base of the bottle. This enables the bottle to release one single drop into the eye.

Release and repeat for the other eye.

Step 5

Ensure that the dropper tip is dry. Replace the overcap. Avoid any contact between the tip of the bottle and your eye or your skin.

After each application, close your eye slowly to allow the fluid to spread evenly over the eye surface.

What is the difference between HYLO-DUAL® and HYLO-DUAL® mini?

HYLO-DUAL® mini is a new 150-drop starter pack size and shares the same advantages as our regular 300-drop pack size HYLO-DUAL®.

HYLO-DUAL® mini is a great starter for those who are newly starting to experience allergy symptoms and dry eye.

HYLO-DUAL® is available for loyal and frequent users.

HYLO-DUAL® and HYLO-DUAL® mini have the same bottle sizes and same contents, but vary in their pack sizes (10mL, 300 drops for HYLO-DUAL® vs. 5mL, 150 drops for HYLO-DUAL® mini).

Who can use HYLO-DUAL® and how long/how often?

Generally, adults and children 6 years and older can instill one drop of HYLO-DUAL® three times a day into each eye.

If you apply HYLO-DUAL® more frequently (e.g.: more than 10 times per day) or suffer from more severe complaints, please consult your ophthalmologist or optometrist. HYLO-DUAL® is suitable for long-term treatment.

As with all health concerns, you should consult your doctor when your symptoms persist.

When should you not use HYLO-DUAL®?

HYLO-DUAL® should not be used if you are sensitive to any of the ingredients.

As HYLO-DUAL® is preservative free, it is well tolerated even when used over extended periods of time.

In very rare cases, hypersensitive reactions like burning or excessive tearing have been reported, which stopped immediately when the use of HYLO-DUAL® was discontinued.

What is ectoine?

Ectoine is a natural substance that helps microorganisms survive in extreme conditions like salt lakes and hot geysers.

Ectoine stabilizes the tear film’s lipid phase to protect against the excessive evaporation of tears and helps to relieve allergic and inflammatory symptoms such as itching and burning.

Is HYLO-DUAL® suitable for contact lens wearers?

HYLO-DUAL® can be used while wearing hard and soft contact lenses.

HYLO-DUAL® relieves symptoms of allergies and dry eye. If your eye doctor does not mind you wearing contact lenses in spite of these troubles, you may use HYLO-DUAL® while wearing hard and soft contact lenses. However, in these cases, there may be some smearing on the contact lenses that will disappear after blinking a few times.

What is the difference between HYLO-DUAL® and HYLO DUAL INTENSE™?

HYLO-DUAL® with Sodium Hyaluronate and ectoine provides all-round relief of dry eye and allergy symptoms.

HYLO DUAL INTENSE™ contains a higher concentration of Sodium Hyaluronate than HYLO-DUAL® This high concentration of sodium hyaluronate, combined with ectoine, provides relief of chronic dry eye and inflammatory symptoms.
