Hydroshock magnesium is a carefully balanced magnesium supplement formulated specifically for reef aquariums, completing the 3-part dosing system alongside Calcium and Alkalinity. Hydroshock Magnesium supplies magnesium at a controlled rate, providing 7,100 ppm magnesium at approximately 12% of the calcium dosage, effectively preventing depletion without excessive buildup. A precise blend of sodium and potassium sulfates maintains the natural Na:Cl:S seawater ratio, while added iodide supports soft-tissue health and healthy molting in reef invertebrates.

Instructions 

Start dosing at 1 mL per 100 L daily, matching equally with Hydroshock Calcium and Alkalinity.

Regularly test magnesium levels, adjusting doses slowly across all three parts equally to maintain balanced magnesium, sulfate, potassium, and iodide levels.

If magnesium significantly drifts, temporarily dose Hydroshock Magnesium independently to restore balance before resuming standard 1 : 1 : 1 dosing.

Dose into high water flow areas.

Adjust dosing incrementally based on consistent testing to maintain targeted water chemistry.
