Fluoride⁹+

Fluoride⁹+ is a concentrated fluoride supplement formulated for reef aquariums. It is intended for occasional correction when fluoride levels fall below the natural seawater range (~1.2–1.4 ppm). Unlike daily maintenance blends, Fluoride⁹⁺ delivers fluoride alone, without additional trace ions, allowing safe and precise restoration of fluoride balance. Fluoride supports skeletal strength and enhances blue and purple coloration in Acropora and other stony corals.

Each mL increases fluoride by 0.10 ppm per 25 US gallons (95 L).

Instructions

Test fluoride with a reliable ICP test before dosing.

Calculate dose: 1 mL per 25 US gal = +0.10 ppm fluoride 1 mL per 50 US gal = +0.05 ppm fluoride.

Dose safely: Do not increase fluoride by more than 0.2–0.3 ppm per day. Add dose gradually into a high-flow sump or display area. Re-test after 24 hours before repeating.

Example: In a 100-gallon system, 4 mL raises fluoride by ~+0.10 ppm.

• USP-grade fluoride salts

Storage

• Store tightly sealed in a cool, shaded location (≤25 °C / 77 °F).
• Protect from direct light.
• Shelf life: 24 months.
• Crystals that may form below 10 °C will redissolve when warmed and shaken.

• If on skin or in eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes.
• If swallowed, rinse mouth and seek medical advice.
