Benylin Extra Strength Cough and Chest Congestion Syrup, 100 mL, is specially formulated to work in your chest to help clear out congestion while helping to relieve cough. Menthol relieves your sore throat pain. Get fast, effective relief of cough with phlegm, chest congestion, and sore throat pain. Each 5mL or 1 teaspoonful (tsp.) contains 15 mg of cough suppressant Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide to control dry cough, 200 mg of expectorant Guaifenesin to relieve chest congestion, and 15 mg of analgesic Menthol to relieve sore throat pain. For Adult and children 12 and over only. Shake well before using. Use 2 tsp. (10 mL) every 6 hours for a maximum of 8 tsp. (40 mL) a day. Be unshakeable with Benylin.

Directions

Use 2 tsp. (10 mL) every 6 hours for a maximum of 8 tsp. (40 mL) a day

Cautions

Keep out of reach of children. Talk to a doctor before using this product if you have asthma, chronic lung disease/shortness of breath, persistent/chronic cough, or are pregnant, breast-feeding, or taking a drug for depression, including monoamine oxidase (MAO) inhibitor drugs. Check with a doctor if cough worsens, lasts more than 7 days, or tends to recur or if you also have excessive secretions or fever. Do not take more than the recommended dosage.
