Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does Earol® Olive Oil Spray Take To Work?
If using Earol® Olive Oil Spray to soften earwax buildup prior to earwax removal, audiologists recommend applying it twice daily in each affected ear for 4-5 days before your appointment.
How Often Should You Use Earol® Olive Oil Spray?
To use Earol® Olive Oil Spray to prevent earwax buildup, apply the spray just once a week. This will help maintain soft earwax and healthy ears without stimulating the earwax-producing glands in the ear canal too much.
How Does Olive Oil Remove Earwax?
With a small, metered dose of olive oil applied to hardened or impacted earwax, the oil is absorbed by the wax, hydrating and loosening the bonds between particles and causing it to break up. It also lubricates the ear canal so that earwax can be removed by an audiologist.
Recommended Dose
Directed mist spray ensures correct dosage without spillage or waste. For best results, use 1 or 2 applications daily. If buildup persists after a week, consult a physician. Please see full instructions before use.
