Ingredients

 Active Ingredient (In each 15 mL) :Loperamide Hydrochloride 2mg

 Inactive Ingredients (alphabetical)  :Carboxymethylcellulose sodium, citric acid, D&C yellow no. 10, FD&C blue no. 1, flavour, glycerol, microcrystalline cellulose, propylene glycol, simethicone emulsion, sodium benzoate, sucralose, titanium dioxide, water, xanthan gum.

Directions

Adults and Children 12 years and over:  

Drink plenty of clear fluids to help prevent dehydration caused by diarrhea .Take 30 mL oral solution (4 mg) initially and 15 mL oral solution every time you have a loose bowel movement .Do not take more than 120 mL oral solution (16 mg) in 24 hour.

Cautions

Taking more than the recommended amount may cause serious heart problems or even death. Do not use if you have bloody or black stools, fever, constipation, abdominal pain, a swollen abdomen, an ulcer, bacterial infection in your bowel, a rash or allergic reaction to loperamide hydrochloride or any other ingredient in this product, or in children under 12 years of age except on the advice of a doctor. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have liver disease, meningitis, mucus in the stool, a history of abnormal heart rhythm, are taking any prescription drugs including antibiotics, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. When using this product, tiredness, dizziness, or drowsiness may occur, so do not drive or operate machinery. Stop use and ask a doctor if diarrhea gets worse or lasts longer than 2 days, unusual symptoms appear, or you get abdominal pain, swelling, or bulging, as these may be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a Poison Control Centre or get medical help immediately.
