Naphcon-A® by Alcon is an over-the-counter redness reliever and antihistamine eye drop designed to provide temporary relief of eye redness and itching caused by common allergens such as pollen, ragweed, grass, and animal hair or dander. Its dual-action formula works by constricting swollen blood vessels to reduce redness while blocking histamine to help relieve itching and watery eyes.

INGREDIENTS

Medicinal Ingredients

• Naphazoline hydrochloride 0.025%

• Pheniramine maleate 0.3%

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

• Boric acid

• Sodium borate

• Edetate disodium

• Sodium chloride

• Purified water

RECOMMENDED DOSE

• Adults and children over 6 years:

• Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s)

• Use up to 4 times daily

Remove contact lenses before use. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

CAUTIONS / WARNINGS

• For ophthalmic use only

• Do not use if you have narrow-angle glaucoma

• Do not use if taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or within 2 weeks of stopping MAOI therapy

• Do not use if solution changes colour or becomes cloudy

• Consult a healthcare professional if symptoms persist or worsen

• Do not use while breastfeeding unless directed by a healthcare professional

• Keep out of reach of children
