Recommended Dose
Daily dose (adults): Chew 2 tablets up to 5 times per day after meals or as necessary. Chew tablet(s) thoroughly.

Pregnant women: 2 tablets 1-3 times per day after meals or as necessary, up to 6 tablets in 24 hours. Chew tablet(s) thoroughly. For best results, drink a glass of water afterwards.

How does Frutin work?
Magnesium and calcium carbonate work as an
antacid and help neutralize any excess acid that may have already reached the oesophagus to help relieve heartburn. But much of it binds to the pectin in
Frutin, and together they build a foamy gel in your stomach that floats up and helps limit the acid reaching your oesophagus. The benefit is that you can
limit acid reflux while promoting a healthy pH level in the stomach, in order to still digest foods properly. Something that is limited in many antacids.
Can you take this product if you’re pregnant?

How fast does this product work?
As soon as Frutin comes in contact with the
stomach acid it will act immediately and therefore very quickly help relieve symptoms of heartburn.
How long before I eat should I take this product?
Take Frutin Gastro Gel just AFTER eating or as
necessary.
Does it work effectively with GERD?
While Frutin Gatsro-Gel is not intended to be used as
treatment for GERD, a reflux disease, it can help with relieve heartburn, when associated with access stomach acid. Note: peppermint can relax the muscles in the stomach opening and thus aggravate GERD (a reflux disease) if susceptible to peppermint.
Why does it indicate not to use more than two weeks of duration?
The reason for the 2 weeks treatment window is to make sure that you get appropriate treatment for the underlying cause of your heartburn (i.e. changing
your diet, or eating smaller meals, managing stress, potentially surgery) instead of only treating the symptoms of heartburn.
Why is peppermint used?
Peppermint is used for a fresh and natural flavour.
Cautions
Do not take for more than two weeks, or if symptoms recur, unless directed by a doctor. Do not take within two hours of another medicine as the effectiveness of the other medicine may be altered. Individuals with kidney disease should not take this product except on the advice of a doctor. Do not use if bottle is open. Keep out of reach of children.
Adverse reactions: Some people may experience diarrhea if taking 8 or more tablets per day.
