BLIS K12® has been clinically shown to support the maintenance of mouth/ear/nose/throat health in children.

The probiotic strains in this product have been strain-verified using DNA fingerprinting technology. It also includes an added prebiotic FOS to promote good probiotic growth. OralBiotic™ may also help to maintain fresh breath when used regularly.

Medicinal Ingredients

Streptococcus salivarius K12 (BLIS K12)...................42 mg (1 Billion CFU) 

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

FOS (Fructooligosaccharides), Xylitol, Sorbitol, Cellulose, Silica, Stearic Acid (vegetable source), Natural Flavours, Beet Powder, Trehalose, lactitol. 

Recommended Dose

Adult Dosage: Take 4 lozenges daily. Children 3 years and older: Take 1 to 2 lozenges daily. Allow the lozenge to dissolve slowly and completely in the mouth and swallow. Take at least 2-3 hours before or after antibiotics. To reduce halitosis, following use of an antimicrobial mouthwash, use for a minimum of 14 days.

Cautions

Consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use if you have nausea, fever, vomiting, bloody diarrhea, or severe abdominal pain. If symptoms of digestive upset (e.g., diarrhea) occur, worsen, or persist beyond 3 days, discontinue use and consult a health care practitioner. If you have an immunocompromised condition (e.g., AIDS, lymphoma, or patients undergoing long-term corticosteroid treatment), do not use this product. This product has come into contact with milk/dairy. If you have a milk/dairy allergy, or if you are taking aminoglycosidic antibiotics, do not use this product. Warning: Xylitol is harmful to pets. Do not feed Xylitol to dogs or other pets. Seek veterinary care immediately if ingestion is suspected.
