Lanolin is remarkably close to our own natural skin oils. It is perfect for use on very dry, rough, or chapped skin. Lanolin is a natural oil derived entirely from the fiber of sheep’s wool. It is secreted from the skin of sheep and becomes trapped in the sheep’s wool, giving protection from rain and moisture. Lanolin is considered a “heavy-duty” moisturizer and emollient that promotes healthy, youthful-looking skin.
