With age, our eyes often lose their ability to see clearly. This may be linked to the health of the central part of the eye – called the macula - responsible for central, accurate vision and light absorption.

Medicinal Ingredients

• Bilberry fruit extract (Vaccinium myrtillus L.)
  (5:1 = 2000 mg) - 400 mg
• Lutein (Tagetes erecta L.) - 5 mg

Non-Medicinal Ingredients

Cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, silicon dioxide, glycerine, and bilberry extract (as colorant).

How does it work?

Blue Berry provides color pigments from lutein
(marigold sourced carotenoids) and European blueberries, rich in deep purple pigments, also called anthocyanidins. Blue Berry provides these purple and
carotenoid pigments to help protect and nourish the macula, to increase the optical pigment density and to
help maintain eyesight in conditions of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts.

Will this product help if I have glaucoma?

Blue Berry Strong was not studied in patients
with glaucoma, but it can help improve optical pigment density which is required for sharp vision. Otherwise, several clinical studies showed that the amount of yellow carotenoids used in Blueberry Strong, helped to significantly slow the progression of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts and therefore help maintain eyesight.

Will this product improve my eyesight?

Blue Berry Strong can help improve optical
pigment density which is required for sharp vision. Otherwise, several clinical studies showed that the amount of lutein used in Blueberry Strong as well,
helped to significantly slow the progression of age-related macular degeneration and cataracts and therefore help maintain eyesight.

Is it safe to combine with another natural
eye product, drops or prescription medication taken for the eyes?

Yes, as long as lutein or other carotenoids from other products are not combined to exceed 20 mg lutein /day. If you are not sure about the combined quantities you are getting from multiple products, consult your pharmacist.

What is age -related macular degeneration (AMD)?

With age, eyes lose their ability to see as clearly as they did in younger years. This can be linked to the health of the central part of the eye - called the macula. The macula lies in the center of our eye and has the highest density of light sensing cells which is why it is responsible for central, sharp vision. It looks yellow because it’s rich in yellow color pigments such as zeaxanthin and lutein, which absorb light.
