Why is Iodine not included in Multi for Men 55+?
Iodine is not included in the Multi for Men 55+ formula because of interactions with medications commonly taken by men over 55. We recommend that anyone on medication consult with a doctor and review their medications with a pharmacist, along with a list of any supplements.

Why is there no iron in the Men’s One Daily Multi?
Iron is not recommended for men unless specifically directed by their healthcare practitioner.

Do I need extra calcium and magnesium with this multi?
Calcium and Magnesium could be a good addition to this multi—taken separately at bedtime not to interfere with the absorption of the other minerals in the formula. We would suggest the MegaFood Calcium/Magnesium/Potassium formula.

Can I take Men’s One Daily Multi on an empty stomach?
As a food-based multivitamin supplement, the tablet can be well tolerated on an empty stomach; however, it is recommended to be taken alongside a meal.

Cautions

Folate supplementation can mask a Vitamin B12 deficiency. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are unsure whether you are taking enough Vitamin B12, if you have an iron deficiency or a liver disorder, or if you develop symptoms of liver trouble (such as abdominal pain, dark urine, or jaundice).
