Cholesterol is a natural fat-like compound in the body and is essential for maintaining the integrity of the structure of your cells as well as aids in the production of vitamin D. However, too much cholesterol in the body puts individuals at risk for developing heart disease.
Choles-Sterol works by supplying plant sterols which have a chemical structure that is similar to cholesterol, which enables them to compete for which one gets taken up by the cell site receptors, thus reducing the amount of cholesterol being absorbed by the gastrointestinal tract.
It also provides Sytrinol, a powerful patented antioxidant derived from natural citrus and palm fruit extracts. Research indicates Sytrinol can lower total cholesterol, LDL (bad) cholesterol, and triglycerides, as well as improve HDL (good) cholesterol levels in the body.
Pomegranate extracts are also included, because they are high in antioxidants which studies suggest aid to decrease the accumulation of LDL cholesterol (bad) in the arteries, thereby promoting healthy circulation.
