These important herbs function as diuretics and regulate calcium oxalate crystallization in the body. Direction
Adults: Take four capsules two times daily, a few hours before or after taking any medication or natural health product, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner . Take with food.
Cautions
Do not use if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking products containing diuretics, or have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, diabetes, oedema or gall bladder, liver or kidney disorder. Do not exceed recommended dose. Consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use if you are taking blood thinners, have fever, painful urination, spasms, blood in urine, symptoms of intestinal spasms, a history of kidney stones or gastrointestinal tract disorder, or to exclude a diagnosis of prostate cancer. High dosages of berberine can depress respiration, stimulate intestinal smooth muscle and reduce bronchial constriction.
Stop use and seek medical attention immediately if you experience dizziness, confusion, muscle weakness or pain, abnormal heartbeat or difficulty breathing. Discontinue use and consult your healthcare practitioner if the following symptoms occur: nausea, vomiting or drop in blood pressure. Consult your healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen.
