What are the Botanica Liquid Capsules made from?

Our Liquid Capsules are made from hypromellose, which is a cellulose material derived from softwood trees, mainly pine and spruce trees that are grown and harvested from plantations in the southeastern United States. Chlorophyll is used to give the capsule a dark green colour. They are Allergen-free, Non-GMO, and Vegan certified.

Is the packaging, specifically the boxes for capsules, sustainably made?

Rest assured, our boxes are recyclable, made with Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-certified post-consumer paper, and printed with vegetable-based ink.

The Botanica Rhodiola capsules look smaller and the bottle looks emptier than they did before, why is that?

We are using a smaller capsule size for these new liquid capsules, which also appears to look like a smaller amount in the bottle. However, we assure you that there are still the exact same amount of capsules in each bottle, and the amount of rhodiola per capsule is also exactly the same.

Where is your Rhodiola sourced from?

The Rhodiola used in our liquid capules is from Canada.

Are there any contra-indications to using this product?
