MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS in each ANTISTAX TABLET:
Red Vine ( Vitis vinifera var. tinctoria leaf) ............ 360mg
NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:
calcium phosphate dibasic anhydrous, colloidal silicon, dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, glyceryl tristearate, hypromellose, iron oxide red, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, purified water, talc, titanium dioxide.
Direction
The dosage of Antstax® tablets is:
Adults: Take one film coated tablet (360 mg) in the morning. The dose may be increased to two film coated tablets daily. Swallow tablets whole with water before breakfast.
Should the condition not improcve within six weeks, please consult your medical practitioner.

What Antistax® tablets are used for:
Antistax® tablets are used to relieve the symptoms associated with chronic venous insufficiency (CVI Syndrome), in association with varicose veins, including swelling of the lower leg, heavy or tired legs, sensation of tension, tingling and pain.
What Antistax® tablets Contain:
The active substance per tablet is 360 mg of a preparation of dry extract of red vine leaf AS 195 (4 - 6:1), which corresponds to 96 % of dry (pure) extract of red vine leaf and 4 % of colloidal anhydrous silica.
The other ingredients are calcium hydrogen phosphate (anhydrous), crospovidone, croscarmellose sodium, ferric oxide red (E172), glyceryl tristearate, hypromellose, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, silica colloidal (anhydrous), talc, titanium dioxide (E171) and water (purified).
None of the ingredients of Antistax® tablets are derived from animal origin.
Do not take Antistax® tablets:
- If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients in this product. (Refer to "What Antistax® tablets Contain", above.)

Antistax® tablets is a naturally derived supplement that can help maintain leg vein health. It comes in easy to take tablets containing a unique extract of red vine leaf AS 195 (Bio-Active Flaven).
Studies have shown that red vine leaf extract and it's flavonoids relieve symptoms of chronic venous insufficiency syndrome like1
- Swollen calves and aching legs

Are there any known medicine interactions with Antistax® tablets
There has been no specific medicine interaction studies conducted with Antistax® tablets. If you are taking any other medicine, including complementary or traditional medicines, check with your healthcare professional before taking Antistax® tablets.
I've been taking Antistax® tablets for two weeks.When will they start to work?
Antistax® tablets can be taken daily according to the product label. In clinical studies the beneficial therapeutic effect has been demonstrated within 2 weeks of use, with continued use for 6 weeks and up until 12 weeks3. There are currently no clinical data available for periods longer than 3 months of use.
Can I carry on taking Antistax® tablets after six weeks?
Beneficial therapeutic effect has been demonstrated within 6 weeks of use. Studies show optimal benefit after 12 weeks of use3.
Does it matter what time of day I take Antistax® tablets ?
Antistax® tablets should be taken once daily and swallowed whole with water, in the morning before food.
I wear stockings with elastic support – can I take Antistax® tablets?
Antistax® tablets can be taken with support stockings2.
Can Antistax® tablets be taken alongside other vitamin and mineral supplements?
Consult your healthcare professional on how to best manage administration of concomitant medications when taking Antistax®. Interactions with other medications such as vitamin and mineral supplements have not been studied.
WARNINGS
If there appears a sudden swelling, reddening of the skin, feeling of tension, heat and pain, especially in one leg, stop use and immediately seek medical attention. These symptoms may be due to thrombophlebitis and is not due to the treatment with Antistax. Persistent edema in both legs may have other causes and should be investigated by your doctor. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients in the product. You may experience nausea, stomach discomfort and other digestive system symptoms, generalized pruritic rash, urticaria and hypersensitivity. Consult your doctor if there is inadequate symptomatic response within 6 weeks of use. If symptoms persist or worsen or for use beyond 12 weeks, consult a healthcare practitioner. Interactions and effects on fertility and ability to drive and use machines have not been studied.
